KYC Account Verification

What is KYC?

KYC (Know Your Customer) verification in impay follows the same flow as the mobile app: start from Account Verification, enter your details and address, choose an ID type, upload photos, then review and submit for approval.

How to verify your account

Step 1

Start verification

Open Profile → Verification in the impay app, then tap Get Verified Now on the Account Verification screen.

Step 2

Personal details & address

Enter your personal information (name, date of birth, gender, nationality, and source of income), then your residential address. Tap Continue after each section.

Step 3

Choose your ID type

Select a government-issued ID—passport, driver's license, UMID, SSS, PhilSys ID, or postal ID—that matches the document you will photograph.

Step 4

Capture ID & selfie

Take clear photos of your government ID (front and back) and a selfie using the on-screen guide in the app.

Step 5

Review & wait for approval

Review your details on the summary screen, confirm accuracy, and submit. You’ll receive a confirmation with a reference number—approval usually takes 24–48 hours.
